Soooo.... UPDATE!

It's been... three or four weeks now since classes started, so I thought I'd fill y'all in on how it's going.

Algebra is....well, algebra. It's an ok class, and Algebra is really the only math that I like so it's not bad overall. The teacher is a pretty new one, maybe her second semester out of college, she seems really nervous, but she knows her stuff and I'm sure she'll be fine once she settles in and gets to know everyone. The bad thing about this class is that all of the homework and quizzes are done online via MyMathLab.com. I used a site like this once for Spanish class, and abhorred it. It's so annoying because with my bad memory, I always forget to sign on and do homework. If I had physical paperwork then I would remember when I search through my bookbag or something. It's annoying, but everyone is moving to this advanced technology phase so I just have to take it I guess.

Client-Side Scripting (a fancy name for HTML) is also fun. It's neat to learn the way web sites are made and such, and hopefully I can get to making my own. Right now we're still in the basics that I've already learned back in High School, but once we break free of that, the class is going to be fun.

Mass Culture isn't what I expected it to be. Rather than learning the cultures of other countries, we're learning the pop, folk and elite cultures of the American Society. Nothing but a Sociology class. Which is a bit depressing but the teacher makes up for it. He really showed himself to be quite a cool guy. It's a big discussion based class, and I like discussions. So not too disappointing I guess.

And Intro to Animation is always fun because it's what I want to learn. We have yet to get into doing any animation though since the teacher needs to explain what Animation is, how it was done traditionally, and explain the interface of the program that we are using.

I decided to just take Chinese next semester, since it will be my last, and I won't have many mandatory classes to take. That's pretty much all that's been going on these past couple of days. I finished up the first chapter of BlackBlade Rising on SmackJeeves.com and have put it on a tiny break while I catch up with other stories and work on story boarding all of them so that I'm not just winging it.

:AEON: is the third comic that I am working on.

Makoto Hikari just moved back to the United States to attend high school after living in Japan for 8 years. After moving and having to lose all of his friends, he just wants to get through his high school days without a problem. However, after meeting Thomas Adams, a fellow classmate of his who lives life on the edge, Makoto's boring life takes a drastic turn into realizing the joys of life that he had once let pass.

This will be a Slice Of Life/School Life genre story! Meaning it will be more based on real life than anything else so I'm gonna work my hardest to not make it boring! It's more of an inspirational story than anything else.
